Here are some highlights from last week: 1) attended @talityeastvillage media preview night and first of all, @sarah_littlee and her co owner did such an incredible job getting this place together!! it’s so stunning & the location as well is too perfect, I love this for them (and us 😂) and I plan on adding this to my slow days this summer! 🧖🏾‍♀️ 2) sukoshi launch/preview event at @southcentremall had me too excited because I was lowwkey getting jealous of all the girlies who had easy access to some of these products! Defs loving the fact that I can finally get @tirtir_official and restock on some of the skin care products that I got in Japan! 3) tried a new sushi spot on my lunch break @fifthavenuesushi recently opened and their menu was 🤏🏾also the owners are the sweetest so pls show up for them! 4) honoured an invitation to @contemporarycalgary’s look26 gala. loved the work with the decor & the Saturday night dance vibes were definitely there 🪩 5) I’ve been on the longest gym hiatus and decided to snap back into it when I noticed it was still bright out at 9pm cause we know what that means 😂 summer’s around the corner so we gotta lock inn that’s a wrap for last week! which slide would you have been down for? & should we make this a summer series? 👀 Things to do in Calgary | Calgary Content Creator | Summer in Calgary

Especially when @virginvoyages is an option 🚢 I’m not gonna say I never wanted to go on a cruise, I’ve actually been interested but was always hesitant to book one because ngl it was giving trapped 😂 but the way I’ve had to eat my words after this trip! Suddenly I’m perfectly okay with being trapped on what feels like a resort at sea if it’s adult friendly, all included and stackeddd with everything you didn’t know you needed. I mean imagine having everything thought of and already planned out for you on vacation and all you have to do is just show up? A moment for the skin & hair? 🤎 Tbh I felt lik A moment for the skin & hair? 🤎 Tbh I felt like my hair wasn’t enough and was tempted to not wear it like this cause I’m used to the buss down lace fronts & waist length boho braids for vacation, but @ellarh_h & @theufuoma knocked some sense into me and basically said be fr 😂 As a Black woman, a lot of us have been conditioned to think our hair needs to be “done done” to be camera ready. But sometimes something simple is actually enough ✨

We’re both Alberta girlies, so you better believe the second we saw white sand, blue water, and palm trees, we basically lost all composure 😭🌴 Bimini was honestly so pleasant - driving through the most beautiful, colourful streets, talking to the locals, and wrapping up the day catching a vibe at Virgin’s private beach club.
