I averaged about 20k steps a day in Kyoto and this I averaged about 20k steps a day in Kyoto and this day wasn’t any different 😅 When I planned to explore Arashiyama, I didn’t realize just how much walking was involved, and trust me, this is not the trip for dainty sandals or pretty-but-painful flats 👀 Thankfully, I packed smart. I wore my @allbirdscanada sneakers on all the busy days and it was easily a 10/10 decision. Lightweight, breathable, and shockingly comfy even after hours of walking — sore feet where?? Arashiyama is a full-day experience, so be sure to come prepared!
